I taught short courses in Applied Psychometrics at the University of Cambridge between 2010 and 2012.
The courses were developed with support of the ESRC Researcher Development Initiative grant “Advancing Quantitative Methods in Psychological Assessment”.
The course materials are now archived in the NCRM Eprints document repository. In this archive, you can find five short courses and two summer schools. Each course comprises a combination of lectures, research examples, software demonstrations and practical computing sessions, using commercial and open source software packages (Mplus, R and other freeware).
The materials can be used for self-learning or for teaching. Guidance provided includes an introduction to each tutorial that covers learning objectives and the minimum entry level knowledge for learners.
